[2 Stars]: 2-in-1 tools are rarely a good idea, this is no exception
In addition to the other criticisms of this tool, the nose is assembled in such a way that clearing jams is a big pain. Three hex socket screws have to be removed and the nose safety, depth adjustment assembly, and nose safety/depth adjustment cover taken off before the nose plate can be removed to access the drive channel. Reassembly is not intuitive and rather fiddly. The nose plate is relatively thin such that it once the tip of the drive pin wears to a certain point staples slip between the drive pin and the nose plate, bending the latter outward which allows the staple to get mangled and the gun stuck to the work piece until you yank it off of the deformed staple.

Bottom line, you're much better off spending the extra money for a dedicated brad nailer and a dedicated narrow crown stapler. I've never met a 2-in-1 tool more complicated than a screwdriver that was a good idea, and this one, while far better than a combination wide crown stapler & corrugated nailer I had the misfortune to use once, is no exception.

All is well so far. I have not yet used gun however but I have no question that all will be well.

Unlike all the other reviews my experience is better with the 2 in 1 cause unlike the rest of u reviewers, mine always matched my expectations perfectly expect for the fact the safety button on top dose not have a function to turn it off.
