Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Review
Most of us who use pneumatic nailers are partial to one brand or another, and if Paslode isn’t usually your choice, we think you owe it to yourself to have a look at this brad nailer.

We’ll get out of the way the only thing we don’t like: depth-of-drive isn’t tool-free. Aside from that relatively small thing, this is one fantastic nailer. It’s the lightest we’ve ever had in hand, and while that may not seem like such an important thing, it will be if you’re working overhead for extended periods.

Probably its most outstanding feature is an unusually streamlined nose architecture that fits neatly into spots the other brands can’t reach and guarantees your fastener drives exactly where you want it to.

Of course, this Paslode has all the things you expect from any nailer: a non-marring tip, directional exhaust to keep debris away from your face and a nice fastener length range, from 5/8 to 2-inch brads.

If you’ve already got a 16-gauge, you may not feel the need for the smaller gun, but we’ll just say that its delicate touch is all we’d want when working with cove, shoe, base and quarter-round moldings, stair spindles, outside crown corners, paneling, and any sort of decorative trim.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste

[5 Stars]: Best Nailer Ever
Some Are right the instructions are for the pros, but with a little help a Beginners dream.
So here you go.
The Knob on the back directs the exhaust were you want it so the blast of air does not hit your face or get in the way. great feature, because I have been using air tools for over 20 years.
To release the a jammed nail(if you ever get one) thats what the little lever on the side is for, and the wheel next to the trigger adjust the depth, when you turn it you can see the pad where the nail comes out move up and down. most of the time I just leave it at the factory setting flush with the base, experment if you want to make the nail as flush as possible to the surface of the wood. Me I just add filler and paint, dont like seeing the nail head.
To shoot just depress the pad on the wood and pull the trigger.
This is a great product with really no fuss.
The best I have used.Love it.

[2 Stars]: don't expect instructions
Not a bad nailer BUT
The only instructions it come with are how to load nails and those aren't very clear.
The online 'instructions' at Paslode's website are only the warranty, nothing else.

I contacted Paslode service and they sent me a manual for 4 other nailers, not this one.

It works, es. Adjusting the depth is a guessing game without a manual. There is a large knob on top of the gun the purpose of which is a mystery.

[5 Stars]: Solid Tool - No Major Complaints
I've had this gun for a couple of years now and it's always worked like it should. I got it to replace a cheap "off brand" nailer, and the difference is night and day. The head design is good & the depth of drive is consistent, with clean setting. Handles the full range of lengths without a problem. Could use a little more "range" on the depth thumbwheel, but not a huge negative. I also have the Paslode 16 ga. nailer and it's been great too.
